This fall, Morningside Presbyterian Church invites you to be part of Raising the Roof, a three-part community fundraising campaign benefiting the Morningside Children’s Center Roof Renovation Project.

Across three meaningful events, we will Play Together, Gather Together, and Share Together—welcoming neighbors, families, friends, and community partners to connect, celebrate, and support the children who learn and grow at Morningside.

From friendly competition and shared meals to festive holiday traditions, every registration, sponsorship, donation, and volunteer hour brings us closer to providing a safe and lasting roof for the Children’s Center.

Gather Together

Community grows around the table.

Join us at Morningside for Gather & Give, a warm Thanksgiving-inspired gathering bringing together friends, families, and neighbors for an afternoon of food, fellowship, creativity, and giving.

A Traditional Thanksgiving Banquet

Gather around the table and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving banquet with turkey and all the favorite holiday trimmings. More than a meal, it’s an opportunity to share the spirit of gratitude and community that makes this season so meaningful.

Celebrating the Creativity of Our Children

A special highlight of Gather & Give will be an exhibit featuring original artwork and creative pieces made by the children of Morningside.

Throughout the event, these special works will be available through a silent auction, giving guests an opportunity to take home a one-of-a-kind creation while supporting the Morningside Children’s Center Roof Fund.

Each piece represents the imagination, joy, and creativity of our children—and reminds us exactly who we are gathering and giving for.

Come gather around the table, celebrate our children, and help us continue building a safe and welcoming place for them to learn, grow, and thrive.

Bread & Blessings

Share Together

Community flourishes when blessings are shared.

Celebrate the joy of the Christmas season at Bread & Blessings, a festive, hands-on holiday baking experience for the community.

Participants will create seasonal breads and treats, learn from a guest chef, prepare gifts to share, and enjoy the warmth of holiday fellowship. Every registration supports the Children’s Center roof renovation and helps turn

Play Together

Community begins with connection.

Kick off the season with an exciting community table tennis tournament for players and spectators of all ages. Spin for the Roof will bring together friendly competition, food, raffles, sponsorships, and plenty of opportunities to cheer one another on.

Whether you compete, volunteer, sponsor, or join us from the sidelines, you will help create a joyful day of connection while raising funds for the Children’s Center roof renovation.
