This fall, Morningside Presbyterian Church invites you to be part of Raising the Roof, a three-part community fundraising campaign benefiting the Morningside Children’s Center Roof Renovation Project.
Across three meaningful events, we will Play Together, Gather Together, and Share Together—welcoming neighbors, families, friends, and community partners to connect, celebrate, and support the children who learn and grow at Morningside.
From friendly competition and shared meals to festive holiday traditions, every registration, sponsorship, donation, and volunteer hour brings us closer to providing a safe and lasting roof for the Children’s Center.

Spin for the Roof
Play Together
Community begins with connection.
Kick off the season with an exciting community table tennis tournament for players and spectators of all ages. Spin for the Roof will bring together friendly competition, food, raffles, sponsorships, and plenty of opportunities to cheer one another on.
Whether you compete, volunteer, sponsor, or join us from the sidelines, you will help create a joyful day of connection while raising funds for the Children’s Center roof renovation.
Gather & Give
Gather Together
Community grows around the table.
Celebrate the season of gratitude at Gather & Give, a warm Thanksgiving-inspired community gathering filled with fellowship, food, generosity, and meaningful connection.
Guests will enjoy a shared meal, children’s artwork, a silent auction, music, and opportunities to support the Children’s Center. Together, we will gather as neighbors and friends while investing in a safe future for the children of Morningside.
Bread & Blessings
Share Together
Community flourishes when blessings are shared.
Celebrate the joy of the Christmas season at Bread & Blessings, a festive, hands-on holiday baking experience for the community.
Participants will create seasonal breads and treats, learn from a guest chef, prepare gifts to share, and enjoy the warmth of holiday fellowship. Every registration supports the Children’s Center roof renovation and helps turn creativity, tradition, and generosity into a lasting blessing.
