Pastor Sara will be leading these group studies.

On Februay 19, 2012, Morningside will hold its Annual Meeting. We will meet after worship and a lunch will be provided by the Fellowship Committee, and because it is so close to Ash Wednesday, we decided to  have a Mardi Gras theme.

On February 22, 2012 we will have an evening service in observance of Ash Wednesday. It will begin at 7:00pm and include the imposition of ashes, the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, and contemplative music.  All are welcome.

“A MULTITUDE OF BLESSINGS: A CHRISTIAN APPROACH TO RELIGIOUS DIVERSITY”

This January and February 2012, the Christian Education Committee and Pastor Sara McCurdy are offering new groups for study. Discussions will be led by Pastor Sara and be based on curriculum developed by Dr. Cynthia Campbell and her book “A Multitude of Blessings: A Christian Approach to Religious Diversity.” There will be a different topic each week. (Tuesday and Wednesday group meetings study the same topic).
