Ready or not, our favorite season is quickly approaching, Summer Camp 2009. We can't wait for the excitement to begin as there are many activities, field trips, and theme days being planned. Knott's Berry Farm, Soak City, Pump It Up, and an Angel Game against the Tampa Bay Rays, are just some of our field trips this year. Theme days include; Carnival Day, where the kids will participate in carnival type games earning tickets for prizes and enjoying cotton candy and snow cones. Our kids will compete in our annual Morningside Olympics, and a new addition this year, a talent show that showcases the wonderful talent and skills that our children have here at Morningside Children's Center. We have scheduled a weekly chapel time with Pastor Sara on Monday mornings to help start our week off well. The staff feels the importance of keeping each child's mind growing throughout the summer by setting aside time during the week to read. Kids may keep books at the Center to insure they will have a book to read. We hope to see everyone this summer, familiar faces as well as some new ones, for a fun-filled, exciting, and safe Summer Camp program.
The rates for the Summer Camp 2009 will be the same as last summer. We are flexible so parents may make arrangements for 3, 4, or 5 days a week participation for your child. Summer Camp begins on June 15, which for children in the Fullerton School District is the start of summer vacation. Register Now.
